We, at Rouwad school, are committed to providing the best possible education to the disfavored students at the lowest cost.
We provide all necessary support to ensure the academic success of our students at all academic levels
We have multiple programs to develop and enhance our students' moral and spiritual side
We nourish the psychological, social, and recreational aspects of our students' lives
We initiated our pioneering project in translating of all scientific subjects from English to Arabic in the Lebanese curriculum for all grades, in order to provide the opportunity for Syrian students to complete their studies in order to eventually obtain official certificates and start their university studies. On the academic level, Rouwad is the first school in Lebanon to offer its students the opportunity to complete their secondary education to admit universities. We were able to achieve this project with organized work that lasted for two years and intensive training of our educational team under the supervision of specialists in teaching the Lebanese curriculum. However, we were not satisfied to educate our students in traditional manners, we applied modern teaching methods (cooperative education, active learning, learning by playing, etc.) and used appropriate teaching aids (graphics, projector, geographical maps, etc) to explain new concepts and further deepen our students’ understanding.
We firmly believe at Rouwad school that acquiring knowledge in general must include spiritual and moral learning that builds the student into a moral, strong, benevolent, and peace-seeking person. Therefore, we have taken care of this important aspect by including some additional educational objectives of each lesson within the curricula for all grades. We regularly hold motivational competitions among students and carry out periodic activities which fortify students’ values and encourage them to act by a well-defined value set.
The role of the school is not limited to academic and moral education, but it is a partner with parents and society in providing social-psychological support for children, which contributes to their upbringing and improving their academic performance in general. Believing in this vision, the school conducted psychological support programs and permanent awareness programs for students and parents. Teachers were intensively trained in special skills in psychological support that are included in their daily preparation and work. We also secure a recreational and social supportive environment by organizing recreational trips and internal activities such as exhibitions that include students' scientific and artistic work.
Rouwad is a private, charitable school registered at the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the Lebanese Republic. It was established in 2013 and aims to provide quality education to disfavored students in Khaldeh region and its surroundings.
