Academics

Al Rouwad school provides academic teaching in the official Lebanese curriculum in English for all cycles and grades. The study stages are divided into all cycles as follows:

1. Preschool

In teaching kindergarten students from 3 to 5 years old, we rely on an active learning methodology, especially learning by playing, as the school has dedicated an entire floor to the kindergarten department with special furniture and logistical requirements that suit their ages and needs..

2. Lower & Middle School (cycles 1 – 2 and 3)

It includes nine grade levels from Grade one to Grade nine.

a. Elementary cycle: The elementary cycle student body consists of students between the ages of 6 and we greatly rely on active learning methodology in their education. We also work to improve their English language through support sessions that include all grades.

b. Intermediate cycle

Middle school includes students from 12 to 14 years old, at the end of which they are sit for official exams conducted by the Ministry of Education in the Lebanese Republic and are granted an accredited intermediate certificate. We provide extra support sessions for English language programs are being worked on for them in the English language and other subjects, as we follow special teaching methodologies and the cooperative learning methodology where students participate through joint projects.

3. Upper School (from grade 10 till grade 12)

Upper school students range between the ages of 15 and 18 years. At the end of it, students are also subject to official exams through the Ministry of Education and Higher Education in the Lebanese Republic. They are given an official Baccalaureate certifictae through which they can register in all Lebanese universities or register in universities outside Lebanon. Our students are informed about university majors through organized visits in cooperation with some organizations. In addition to that, our students are connected with organizations that help cover the expenses of university studies.
